SOCIALNI SLUZBY SEBETOV, ALLOWANCE ORGANIZATION has a long history. It was established in 1953.
The founder of this organization is regional authority of Jihomoravsky kraj.
Organization takes care of adult people with mental disabilities, invalids, people with insanity and people with combined disabilities.
We don´t take care of chronic alcoholics or people with psychosis who could be dangerous for other users.
The type of the care is residential – it means that users of our services live here like in their homes. We offer – accomodation, boarding and nursing care.
Facility provides continuous service which is fully vested by vocational staff.
Social care is provided by these principles:
1. respect of human dignity
2. respect of freedom in decision making
3. cooperation with families and legitimate representatives of our users
4. integration of users into society and public life
The capacity of our service is 184 users. And we are fully engaged. People who want to come here have to submit a petition and than they are in registration.
The facility has two buildings – old castle and new pavilon.
Users are housed in single, double, triple and more bedrooms.
In leisure time users can exploit many activities – therapy woorkroom (pottery, looming, graphic woorkroom, needlework, work with silk, wicker-work, elaboration of beeswax), cure (priest comes once a month), many trips and tours, canistherapy, hipotherapy, library …
Users can exploit rehabilitation (massage, whirlpool bath, lymph bag…)
Our employees try to give a support to users (not just help them, but to improve their skills), better their lives and replace their home…
